A couple of weekends ago, while Greg and Evelyn were in Montana for the weekend, I took Parker with me to check out made. a local market for the first time.
We poked around for a bit, but a squirmy toddler who is too big for a stroller and also too big to be constantly held makes for a distracted shopping experience. In any case, I found a few goodies:
from left to right, top to bottom: Boho clear stamp set from Boho Cottage | Macrame keychains from Moss Points North | tassel keychain from Hampton Press | Sizzlin’ Cilantro Salsa spices from Gonga Breath Salsa and Dip Co
I hadn't expected to come across a stamp set while at the market, and so I looked forward to making some cards with it, especially since those cacti were ripe for watercoloring!
I used regular cardstock for the watercoloring instead of actual watercolor paper, so that may have contributed to some bleeding when the cardstock got really saturated with water. I stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used the Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36-Color Set watercolors.
